Ramey Music Artists

Jon has been writing and recording music since the age of 15. Starting with a small recording setup in his bedroom he has worked in studios from small home systems to full blown professional analogue and digital studios.

Projects include 3 piece rock bands, 6 piece jam band, a duo where Jon orchestrated backing tracks and programmed drum machines for live performance. Current performance project is ALLEN/HALL.

Renaissance is Jon's firstfull length cd for Ramey Music. It's 10 tracks are all written and performed by Jon along with other Ramey artists adding various instruments. The songs range from straight story telling to the more abstract imagery and poetry. With percussion in only one track, the cd is what Jon calls post modern folk rock with some songs bringing in a mix of country and blues. The cd is available through the Ramey Music web site.
