Ramey Music Artists

Van Ramey has been playing guitars, banjos and mandolins since he was a child growing up in Flat Gap Ky. Van graduated from Morehead State University earning a BA in communications as he worked in theater, radio and television production. Van became a Proctor and Gamble sales representative where he stayed for 15 years while always pursuing music projects in his free time and raising a family. In (1998) Van began teaching in area schools and settled into teaching emotionally challenged children. He taught children music and used music as a way to get through to his students. In 2006 Van started Ramey Music llc.

Van's latest recording, Mountain Bride features himself playing all the instruments and singing all harmonies.
